Bergen, March 27-28, 2025 – The PREVENTABLE Consortium gathered in Bergen for a strategic two-day hybrid meeting, bringing together experts, researchers, and clinical teams to discuss the latest findings, progress in and future directions of RTRS research to the conclusion of project.

Key Highlights:

  1. Research Progress: Leaders work packages from WP1 to WP5 shared their findings, highlighting the status to reach the main objectives of PREVENTABLE project in merging specialized clinical knowledge on RTRS pathways of care, real-life clinical data (from patients or professionals), with health economic models and social sciences approaches.
  2. Work Package Updates: Leaders from WP1 to WP7 discussed the next steps to the conclusion of the project.
  3. Communication & Policy: Discussions focused on strengthening care through evidence-based policies and effective dissemination.
  4. Networking & Social Events: The meeting included a reception at Hanseatic Museum and Schøtstuene, Bryggen UNESCO site warmly welcomed by the representative of Bergen Major Office and a dinner at Fløirestauranten.

The consortium concluded with a general team meeting, reinforcing the consortium’s commitment to collaboration and patient-centered research. With fresh insights and strengthened partnerships, PREVENTABLE continues to drive innovation in RTRS prevention and care.
