The PREVENTABLE project was showcased at the 12èmes Assises de Génétique Humaine et Médicale 2024 in Paris, represented by CHB Rouen and CHU Rouen. This prestigious national event, held biennially, gathers around 2,500 key stakeholders in the field of human genetics and the broader French-speaking community, including geneticists, biologists, genetic counselors, researchers, research engineers, students, patient organizations, and industry suppliers.
The congress serves as a vital platform for the scientific and medical community to review and discuss the ongoing advancements in the understanding and application of human genomics. Over the course of four days, high-level specialists addressed various critical topics such as technological innovations, the expanding knowledge of the human genome’s content and function, the discovery of new genes linked to genetic disorders, best practices in the field, and ethical considerations. The event featured a mix of plenary and concurrent sessions, providing attendees with comprehensive insights into the latest developments in human genetics.
